Mary and the posting of prayers

This morning, I met a charming lady named Mary.  She is 100 on 4th May.  I was asked by the Eucharistic minister, another Mary, if I would like to take some pictures for the website.  I gladly obliged.  I sat in on Mary administering the eucharist to Mary 100 and had a nice chat afterwards.  I have taken some really nice pictures for the News In Pictures section to put up around the time of her birthday.

After that meeting, I assisted Father Vin on how to send emails with attachments, over the phone.  He picked up the procedure very quickly and so will be able to send me the newsletter for me to update the website in good time for the weekend's masses.  That is until I have got my plan in action to create the paper newsletter automatically online by feeding content from the website onto an online layout.  I will definitely get cracking on that one over the next couple of weeks.

I have finished the system for the Post-A-Prayer section.  It's all in working order.  I just need to get the rest of the prayers and intentions section complete and the homepage redesign finished and then it will be online for all.  No silly errors today, any code problems I identified pretty quickly to get things running smoothly again.  The power of experience, huh?  And the Lord, of course.  He's always around to help for inspiration.
